New line, new song

“There’s blood on the backboard at the elementary school, because sometimes there’s things you’ve gotta do.”

The line is about a basketball court that my buddies and I play on when I’m in Boulder. A friend of ours split something on his face open, I can’t remember what, but we put some of his blood on the backboard to christen the court. Makes it feel like home.

I love how this song is turning out. It’s a departure from the stuff I usually write. I need to start recording to put some tracks on my Muxtape account.
