In the interest of Tech blogging

I’ve wanted to take this blog in a certain direction for a long time and while there is a lot of competition in the particular field, I’d like to take it in the direction of technology blogging.

I figure that there are a lot of blogs out there who A) don’t try very hard and B) aren’t worth your time. I want this blog to be the antithesis of those blogs and I know that it can be.

My blog has been around since April of 2008 and since then I’ve gathered a good sized following but not for technology necessarily.

What I’m wondering is whether it’s more beneficial for me to just turn this blog straight into technology and go from there or whether it’s more beneficial to start something new and organically build a technology-oriented audience.

  3. theregoesfun answered: Start fresh, but beware. We’ve found that Tumblr isn’t the best platform when you are posting things other than kittens or emo quotes.

  5. adamwhite answered: Start organically but heavily cross promote. You’ll get readers of your current site to check out the new one if you’ve built rapport already
