Two things to absolutely expect from the 4th generation iPhone

  • A sleek, new design

It’s not hard to see this coming. There won’t be a major design change though (a front-facing camera or a bigger screen), as some bloggers and Apple rumor sites are speculating. Apple could cut the white model though in favor of a silver model. The white doesn’t fit anymore with the rest of Apple’s line; they’re in a black and silver mood as of late. Expect the new iPhone’s design to reflect the rest of Apple’s products.

  • Tremendous improvements in battery life

After immensely improving the battery life in the MacBooks and MacBook Pros, expect the iPhone’s battery life to go up dramatically as well. That should calm the cries of 3G owners who are tired of charging their phones at home and at work. Apple is pioneering battery technology in laptops. Why should we expect any different in their phones?
