Fires and Cops

My girlfriend and I just got a talking to from the State Police after he shined a light on me while I was putting out and abandonned campfire. He lectures us on how to safely shoot off fireworks and how beach bonfires are illegal. To top it all off he told us how he should arrest me because I was nearest to the campfire. I told him that I was just putting the fire out before we left but he didn’t care, he’d been pushed around in high school and now it was time to push back: he’s a cop.
