Because the roof of The Stone Pony caved in, the three-night Bouncing Souls and friends concert was relocated to the old arcade area on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. It was one of the coolest venues I’ve been to. Let Me Run was really good, The Gaslight Anthem was incredible as always, and Bouncing Souls were exactly what I expected. New Jersey crowds really bring out the best in their local bands. Any concert in Asbury Park featuring band from the shore or from New Brunswick is guaranteed to be a good time. (via Mike Black)
